Nokia Normandy has been in rumor land for more than a month now and till today there was lack of evidence on internet for it's existence but the notorious Evleaks has yet gain stepped in and leaked an image of Nokia device claiming it to be Normandy with Android 4.4.1 KitKat running in it.
Even though the company's devices and services are soon to be acquired by Microsoft, it looks like Nokia Normandy is a Full head on and is expected to be live against all odds.
Last month, there has also been reports that Nokia Normandy will be an Entry level Android smartphone from Nokia but the leaked image from Evleaks shows that Nokia will be using Lumia's design and will be available in different colors to choose from.
Evleaks has also tweeted that Nokia Normandy will be running on Android 4.4.1 KitKat. Judging by the images, the lock-screen, Viber and Skype applications the Android looks like just the Android 4.4.1 KitKat.
Yet there's another leaked image by Evleaks from it's anonymous tipster showing off AnTuTu benchmarks run on an UN-identified entry-level device from Nokia. This leaked images sheds some light on Nokia Normandy's specifications.
The tested device is dubbed as Nokia RM-980 A110 codenamed Normandy and it's hardware specifications are to be a 4 inch FWVGA display with resolution of 480x854p, 5 MP Rear camera, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor and running on Android 4.4.1 KitKat.
If this Android smartphone is to be previously tipped "Mountain View" then the processor to power it is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 200 (quad-core Cortex-A5/Adreno 203 or quad-core Cortex-A7/Adreno 302).
Some recent reports also suggests that Normandy is going on in full development at Nokia and the smartphone is tipped to go official this year. Some go even further saying the team working on Normandy (Project N) will stay at Nokia and continue to work on it alongside other devices (such as the alleged Nokia smartwatch) after Microsoft's acquisition is completed.
However, we will find out more Nokia about this device as the Summer get's closer.
